The INFINITY 4000® is available in both electric and hydraulic models to facilitate almost unlimited torque capability. Both models feature the same, simple design with fewer moving parts than competing systems. Because the INFINITY 4000® requires less frequent adjusting, runs smoother, and lasts longer, it is universally referred to as the "user-friendly” pool cover system.
“SMART MOTOR”
The INFINITY 4000® is powered by a revolutionary, patent-pending “smart motor” that has twice the power and runs one-third faster than other pool cover motors. The waterproof “smart motor” also ramps up to maximize speed, protecting motor and drive gears from damage and extending motor life. The “smart motor” also utilizes magnetic-sensor technology that stops the cover when fully open or fully closed. Plus, the "smart motor" has a back up (redundant) "speed sensor" designed to stop the cover in the event of magnetic sensor failure. In other words, the autostop system is bulletproof—unlike mechanical stop devices used with other cover systems (i.e. "slip clutches" & torque limiters") that must be adjusted periodically in order to function properly and counteract the effects of friction.
The Indoor Cover Advantage
A common myth is that indoor pools don’t use much energy. Indoor pools evaporate just as much as outdoor pools. Plus, condensation damages walls and rusts metal parts.
Since the INFINITY 4000® all but eliminates evaporation when the pool is covered, expensive ventilation systems can be eliminated or configured for use only when the pool is uncovered, saving thousands of dollars in equipment and energy consumption.
